''The Beauty That Splendors From Everlasting to Everlasting''

"For as high as the heavens are above the Earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far as He removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on His children, so the Lord has compassion to His children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. As for man His days are like grass, He flourishes like a flower of the field; the wins blows over it and it is gone and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting, the Lord's love is with those who fear Him and His righteousness with their children's children with those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts." -Psalms 103:11-18

"He set the Earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.
You covered it with deep as with a garment;
the waters stood above the mountains,
they flowed over the mountains,
they went down over the valleys
to the place you assigned for them.
You set a boundary they cannot cross;
never again they will cover the Earth
He makes springs pour water into the ravines;
it flows between the mountains,
they give water to all the beasts of the field
the wild donkeys quenched their thirst
the birds of the air nest by the waters
they sing among the branches
there is the sea, vast and spacious
teeming with creatures beyond number
living things both large and small
there the ships go to and fro,
and the leviathan, which You
formed to frolic there
when You send Your Spirit,
they are created
and You renew the face of the the Earth."

                   -Psalms 104

Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguiseWe pray for blessings
We pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
All the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things

Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

We pray for wisdom
Your voice to hear
We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near
We doubt your goodness, we doubt your love
As if every promise from Your Word is not enough

All the while, You hear each desperate plea
And long that we'd have faith to believe

When friends betray us
When darkness seems to win
We know that pain reminds this heart
That this is not our home

What if my greatest disappointments
Or the aching of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy
What if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest nights
Are your mercies in disguise
